Nebraska’s offense takes center stage as the pads are put on

Ah, the sound of pads popping. It’s the time of year when you know real football is just around the corner. The Nebraska football team strapped up and hit the field for a couple of hours on Thursday. In the aftermath, it was those that help the offense hum that got a word in edgewise.

Offensive coordinator Danny Langsdorf brought the group of cameras and voice recorders up to speed on how his group is looking thus far:

Offensive live coach Mike Cavanaugh was very pleased with the opportunity to redshirt the linemen from this past class. When asked about players such as John Raridon, Boe Wilson and Matt Farniok, Cavanaugh responded, “Love them. They are tough guys, I love what they’re doing. [They’ve] just got to keep growing in our system. I see progress, so that’s fun.”

Always an entertaining interview, wide receivers coach Keith Williams chimed in about Stanley Morgan, Tyjon Lindsey and more.

The Big Red gets Friday off before getting to it again this upcoming Saturday.
