After landing a commitment 24 hours ago from the class of 2017 Iceland prospect Thorir Thorbjarnarson, Tim Miles and his staff have done it again this evening landing a commitment from Nebraska resident Brady Heiman in the 2018 class.

After offering Brady two days ago the talented 6’10 PF/C out of Platteview High School pulled the trigger this evening and is the first in-state Husker basketball for coach Tim Miles.

Husker fans may be accustomed to losing in-state talent to Omaha rival Creighton University but their offer yesterday appeared to come with strings asking Brady to play a year at a prep school before enrolling at Creighton.

Slated to be a force in Nebraska’s class-B this year, Brady averaged 15.7 points per game, 8.9 rebounds, and 4.6 blocks as a junior according to his stats on MaxPreps.com

Brady will likely take a redshirt season his freshman year at Nebraska to help bulk up and gain strength as the  Huskers play in one of the most physical conferences in the nation and it physicality is not lost on him.
