Watt picks Nebraska

Dominick Watt
Huskers land big commitment from WR Dominick Watt

It’s been a huge evening for Husker Sports already today. This afternoon, the Huskers football team received a commitment from RB/ATH Miles Jones and minutes ago wrapped up a 20-point win in basketball over #23 Michigan.

The football staff wasn’t to be outdone and put a cherry on top of an already thrilling night as they picked up a second big commitment from the Sunshine State as wide receiver Dominick Watt pulled the trigger for the Big Red. The speedy 6’1 200lb WR out of Florida, Watt was one of coach Frost’s earliest offers picking his offer up in the days after Frost was named Nebraska’s new head coach.

Watt holds double-digit division one offers as a recruit and was being pursued by some of the top teams in the country. One of coach Frost’s perceived desires as the Huskers head coach was to inject his team with athleticism and speed across the board. With a 4.6s 40-yard dash,  Watt’s brings a heavy dose of speed whenever he steps on the field.

Watt joins junior college wide receivers Mike Williams and Jaron Woodyard in the Huskers 2018 recruiting class and will help to add depth and talent to the roster.
